Hi – I am so happy you are here!

I’m Brittany an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist serving San Diego and surrounding areas. If you are anxious about starting therapy or unsure where to begin, you have come to the right place.

Choosing to start therapy can feel overwhelming and difficult to navigate for many. This is why I strive to ensure that this transition is as smooth as possible and that you feel safe, comfortable, and confident working with me.

“When you cannot look on the bright side, I will sit with you in the dark.”

I am passionate about working with people who are experiencing some of the most difficult times in their lives, are feeling lost, anxious, and having a hard time navigating this thing that we call life, whether it be due to depression, work, relationships, or outside influences. I work with a wide variety of clients and assist individuals and couples in healing the wounds of their past, managing the difficulties and inconveniences that often interfere with living as their most authentic selves, and identifying ways to achieve their future goals and become the best version of themselves. While working to help clients gain a sense of compassion, curiosity, and acceptance.

As a San Diego Therapist, I work with those who struggle with anxiety, depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Trauma, addiction, relationship distress, infidelity, ADHD, LGBTQIA+, and self-esteem issues. I am experienced in working with diverse populations, from all walks of life, and socioeconomic statuses and I pride myself in my cultural competency.

My clients often refer to me as their safe space, and my approach is composed of compassion, humor, and warmth. I approach therapy collaboratively and trust that my clients are the experts in their lives and know what is best for them. My job is to help work past any barriers that may be interfering with their ability to recognize their wants, needs, and feelings  in a safe, non-judgmental, and understanding space.

All clients are unique and receive a personalized therapeutic experience based on their individual needs. Both evidence-based practices, and holistic psychology are utilized in my approach, and I work with a wide variety of modalities like; Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Humanistic, Existential, and Experiential Therapy.

As a certified Reiki Healer, I strive to help clients connect their mind, body, and spiritual well-being. This is often done through mindfulness, meditation, somatic exercise, and relaxation techniques. I received my master’s degree with distinction in counseling psychology from National University. Additionally, hold master’s degrees in forensic psychology, and Human Behavior, and a bachelor’s in psychology. I have also been inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success. I am available for both in-person and telehealth appointments, and I cannot wait to work with you on your journey of healing, self-discovery, and reaching your highest potential.

Supervised by Dr. Kristin Francis (License No. PSY29156). My Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapy Number is 145851. Contact me today to schedule an appointment!
